I've noticed in recent years more celebrations of summer solstice. It's sort of like when Google has a weird masthead and you wonder, what's Google celebrating now? And it turns out to be some obscure celebration of someone's birthday like Dali.
I hate being the designated airport shuttle for the family, but I seems I have the most flexible schedule and live closer to the airport; therefore, I must pick up my sister and her kids are different dates throughout the month until they all finally congregate in one home for the summer.
I'm not sure I get Burning Man. Oh wait, yes I do. No matter what existential or ontological inquiry into the nature of man the festival props up as a theme, it's still just about people indulging in drugs and giving pasty white males an excuse to engage in homoerotic behavior.
Filmmaking adventures continues. I will put a clip up of our first impromptu project. I seem to be developing a core team that will stick around for the summer. There are a couple of film competitions that we will also be entering later in July and August.
RE: Iran
I don't know what to say only that when the 2000 U.S. Presidential Election was rigged, we didn't do anything that required preparing for martyrdom or death in general.
That is all.
