Plate #1 - Dissertation

Seeing that the plan is to finish by June, my ass has been in overdrive making sure the Is and the Ts and the Qs are all dotted, crossed, fingered, and what have you. This is the plate that must be kept spinning at all costs.

Plate #2 - Filmmaking

I have several projects that I really shouldn't be doing, but I do them because they are a creative outlet. I'll be filmming another short over the weekend, and I am currently in the research stages of a documentary that I want to enter at the Ann Arbor and Sundance film festivals.

Plate #3 - Work

Luckily, this has not been a huge problem since I'm tenured, and piece of shit associate dean has been exchanged for a much cooler Associate Dean for the next two years.

Plate #4 - Life in General

I can barely squeeze in time for relatioships, definitely nothing heavy duty. My younger sister is okay and has been stable. Seeing that I've been sucked into the Facebook vortex, relationships have been much easier to manage, ironically enough.

In other news...

I'll pass in the iPad. I'm still a firmly entrenched PC user although I might buy a used iMac for film editing purposes. But no way will I ever stand in line for any electronic gadget, especially after the way Apple screwed people over with the iPhone.
