She's so beautiful in King Kong. The movie is crap, but she did what she was supposed to do, look beautiful.

In the past few days, I've had to have my motherboard replaced. The new motherboard required installed about a dozen new drivers and a few hours of trying to get the ethernet working nicely with the router. But still, I'm thinking I can get a new motherboard, or just buy a new desktop. Even with 750 MHz and 384 RAM the desktop functions pretty well, and gets everything done they way it did before: writing, recording from a tv card, and PC Games. I guess I can wait before upgrading.

I have a shitload of work to get done. I'm supposed to have the Science-English learning community syllabus finished, like the end-of-September finished. The chapter for my dissertation is a couple of weeks overdue, and then there's the regular workload of grading papers and designing virtual assignments for the online classes, so for the next 36 hours I will have to put my ass in gear.

Right now, I'm waiting for dough to rise so that I can make cloverleaf rolls for lunch and dinner. I plan on making some chicken dish with swiss cheese in my crockpot. Hell, I might even have the fireplace going for an hour or two, but I think I save that until November.

The first chapter on Natalie Holloway and some elements of the books are starting to come together, and I'm hoping to post something tomorrow. It will be my procrastination project for this weekend.
